What They Wanted - An article that educates on the significance of using healthcare data to conduct research, spotlights UNC's partnership with The National Patient-Centered Clinical Research Network (PCORnet), and celebrates the Congressional reauthorization of the Patient-Centered Research Institute (PCORI).
What I Did - Collaborated with NC TraCS to interview their Principal Investigators and draft a convincing article that communicates the growing role of patient data in healthcare research.
Why It Worked - It's successful in demonstrating the benefits of research based on patient data without putting the reader to sleep. Weaving the investigators own words into the article presents a compelling story that celebrates the innovative advances of modern medical research and improved patient care.
